Why does turning 50 in 1 year seem so scary?

Hi everyone,

Yep, just turned 49 and I have told myself that I will be in better shape by my 50th. Losing weight is going to come with getting back in shape. I have always wanted to join an online community like this, so here I am.

I hope you all will help me as I will help you through this journely.

    Because it is a milestone!!

    Today is my 50th birthday and I vowed to look better than I did at 40.

    You can count on me for encouragement to reach your goal!!

    Such a big milestone - don't be scared, think of the party!
    I'll turn 30 in exactly 4 months time and party planning is in full swing.

    Age-wise, I'm right there with you. I am in better shape at 47 than I have EVER been in my life! You can do it!
