Foods the block fats & lower insulin ETC...

I want to make a list of the most "Helpful" foods to eat for weight loss.... I'm not sure what all of them are but I was hoping if I shared what I knew (on some) if others would add on to my list and share the wealth.... :happy:
What foods block fats and make you not store fats etc....
Like... 1. Avocados lower insulin levels so you don't store fat...
2. Apples have Pectin that keep you from absorbing too much fat....
3. Low-Fat Dairy blocks fat producing horomones.....
4. Brazil Nuts have Selenium that will increase your thyroid....
5. Bananas, potatoes & Beans (resistant starch) prevents you from storing too much fat
6. Garlic breaks down fat
7. Vitamin C burns fat
8. Soy makes Lecithin which breaks down fat and blocks fat absorbtion...
Is there anything y'all can add to my list??....
