Excercising with Osteoarthritus.

I would like to find some excersises I can do,have osteo of hips and knees.

    I have had great success with stationary cycling. Also, yoga has greatly increased my strength and flexibility in these joints.

    If your pain is severe, you could also try swimming. A heated pool would make you feel amazing, trust me.:wink:

    ps, I also have osteoarthritis.

    :raising my hand: I have had osteoarthritis in my neck and upper spine for a couple of years and a few months ago, was diagnosed with osteoporosis (to quote a line from the Rolling Stones song 'Mother's Little Helper'.........."what a drag it is getting old") :wink: I have found that low impact aerobic activity like walking or low impact dance aerobics has helped quite a bit, a long with taking calcium with vitamin D twice a day.
