Having been fine this morning and gone to my aerobics class as usual, I then came down with something very suddenly mid morning, and now have full on tonsillitis, can't swallow, chills (despite it being 30 degrees), aching all over, pounding head, the works.

I can't bring myself to eat anything other than high carb, high fat rubbish! All I have wanted all day is chips. I made myself have some berries with greek yoghurt earlier, but I feel really rough now.

So is it ok to eat junk food when you are ill? I am the same when I get sick, I can't eat vegetables or fruit or anything healthy, I just want boiled rice and potatoes - carbs carbs carbs.

I can relate - I've had bronchitis for the past week which has included a trip to the ER for a ventolin nebulizer. I can't excercise so I've been trying to be pretty careful to stay within my 1200 calories. That has included eating a Mars bar and Doritos (hey, I'm also pms-ing).
