Hey everyone. I know I've been scarce for awhile - let me explain a bit. Last year, around may, I got a job offer for a fortune 500 company. I took the chance, moved half way across the state to a new city, and settled in. The job absorbed most of my time.

The landlord sold the property I was living in, and the new landlord exercised the exit clause on the lease. I suddenly had 30 days to find a new place to live. We worked with the new landlords - they had been lied to by the original owner (they were told we were "just waiting for a reason to break our lease" and that they could move in immediately). They were a young couple with two kids, and dumped their life savings into buying the place. They had taken an FHA loan that required they be living on premise within 60 days or they would forfeit it. So, we negotiated a small cash settlement for each of the tenants to leave without putting up a fuss and to cover our expenses. Since then, I am now commuting back and forth every day to the city, which takes up 4-5 hours of my day, in addition to working 9-11 hour days. I have almost no free time, and when I do, the last thing I want to do is work out.

So, I have just been maintaining with food.

So, if you don't see me often, that's why. Hope ya'll are doing well.
Laters!
-Matty

Wow! Hang in there! I hope you can find somewhere closer to work soon, because that commute is ridiculous!

Sorry to hear that you have gone through so much! It is hard to have energy after days and commutes like that. Hope it gets better for you soon!
