Question about toning and cardio

Hey guys, I have a question about cardio and toning. I'm 4'10" and 93 lbs so I'm not looking to lose a bunch of weight. I just want to tone up and flatten my stomach. For this, how much cardio is needed? I work with toddlers at a daycare so I am pretty active all day long! I have several fitness dvd's that I use, mostly ones by Deanne Berry. If I do a warm-up from one of my dvd's, plus 45 minutes-ish of toning a day, will I see results? Or should I do the warm up, a dance section, then tone? Thanks!

If weight loss isn't your goal, cardio shouldn't be as much of a focus as strength training.

In other words, strength training will burn far more calories than just cardio alone. Muscle burns fat, so the more lean muscle you have, the more fat you will burn. Do a search on the forum, and you will find more than enough info.

    Hope that helps a little.
