Well, including the week I spent in Hawaii, I have been not eating well for 4 weeks now. I've exercised regularly, but haven't even monitored calories for 4 weeks straight. While it's been nice, I'm ready to get back to business and get the last 10 pounds off (plus the 5 that I re-gained). I'm all motivated again. I bought free weights so I can start lifting using the Tom Venuto program. I haven't adjusted my ticker yet...my official weigh in day is Thursday, so I'll weigh in then and adjust as needed. Hope everyone has had a great summer vacation so far. I'm ready to make the rest of the summer count! (Plus, I just paid the half marathon fee for October, so I've got 7 miles to add to my runs between now and October) Lots of work to do, but I'll get it done!

I just had a week vacation with my family and gained 2.5 pounds. I'm ok with that. I didn't track my diet, but I did get some exercise in, maybe not as intense as I do at home, but I did work out. I am in about the same boat as you, need to re-lose the 2.5, plus the last 10 or 11.0

My kids and I went and stayed with my mom and her husband for 5 days. To my surprise, I lost weight. They eat pretty healthy too. I wasn't doing a great workout, but apparently it was enough!0

Agreed. Plus, airplanes and flying make you retain water (at least this is what my own personal opinion is). Whenever I fly, I always wait a couple of days before I weigh myself!0 -
I can totally relate. We went to Aruba for 7 days and even though I ran 3 miles for 3 of the days I gained 7lbs. I have a half marathon in Sept and I am trying to find the motivation to get serious again. But it is hard with all the Chicago festivals going on i.e. Taste of Chicago!!!! :ohwell:0
