I do the 30DS but my husband won't. He's a bit overweight, and I'd like him to do some kind of low-impact exercise 30 minutes a day. Any recommendations??? I think he doesn't like the 30DS because it's geared towards women.

Leslie Sansone has a low impact workout.. its mostly walking in place and a few other things like knee raises and kick backs. I like doing those on days Im just not feeling high impact workouts0

I love the 30DS, but I also likx the P90 videos. They are good for men or women. It is the same guy that does the P90X, but it is the series that you should do before doing the P90X.0

I really like the Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout or Boot Camp DVDs. There are 3 parts in each, so you can start out slow and add parts as you get stronger. And there are men doing the exercises too. These aren't necessarily low impact, but most have modifications for beginners.
Good luck and hope you find something that you like!0 -
Any of Nell McAndrews fitness dvd's as she actually is an athelete so do the workout herself not just posing like most of them. After using it every other morning for two weeks there was a clear change.0

I own several of Leslie Sansone walking DVD's. They are great low impact workouts. However, if he's concerned that it's direct at women, I think he'll have the same response to these videos. It's not a very "manly" workout. My husband used to feel that way too. Until he gave it a try. You can work up a good amount of sweat and get your heart rate up without jumping around all over the place.0

I really like Bob Harper's Ultimate Cardio workout. It has a 60 min workout and a 20 min workout so you can decide. It's can be very challenging (but does include modifications), but so awesome! It isn't geared towards men or women. It's just a great workout.0

Thanks guys! I've heard of a few of those. He definitely needs to start out at the lower level. I think we are both a little intimidated by p90x. We need to work our way up.0
