Pulled/over stretched inner thigh

We were doing front, back and side lunges with weights in a tone and sculpt class today. During a right sided lunge I kicked out more like I was doing a fencing lunge and when I pushed the lunge I felt a stinging type ache in my right inner thigh. I continued through the reps and each time that inner thigh was stretched to a certain point I could feel it and backed off the stretch for a bit.
We also did some squats later and I could feel the twinge.
Walking and usual movement is find, though I just felt it again when I squatted down to pick up a load of laundry from the floor. I've looked on line but nothing I see sounds like this. I fenced last night and it was fine. This would be my front leg fencing so I need it in good shape for a tournament in a few weeks.
Any idea what this is???
