I found this blog last night www.browneyedbaker.com while looking for granola bar recipes. She has a basic formula so YOU can decide what to put in. So many possibilities! Plus, if you have allergies or don't like this or that it makes it so easy to sub stuff in or out. It also makes it so easy to figure out calorie counts and adjust how many calories you are willing to spend on one bar. I was looking for almost a meal replacement type bar so, I added peanut butter and almonds. Of course, almond butter would be amazing! Oh, the possibilities!

I also use this recipe analyzer because you can copy and paste a recipe right into the box, click "analyze" and the nutritional info pops up. I sat there for a while and played with ingredients and measurements until I got cals/fats/proteins I could live with with the ingredients I had on hand. You just keep clicking "analyze" and the info just changes. No backtracking or starting over with a recipe. Sometimes there will be errors or questions that you have to figure out but it's not hard. Not sure if you have to create an account or not...
