It so irritating! I Start off sooo strong and feel so great, then by day 4... its gone :( No motivation to do anything, not to eat right not to work out, just nothing. I can not let myself go like this anymore but I cant seem to keep up the positive changes. WHAT THE HECK IS WONG WITH ME!?!? I guess my question for you is, how do you keep motivated even when you hit a wall?

I think your motivation and mine have gone off on a party together. 6 months in and I'm a little tired of the routine. I took the last few days 'off' and am finding it hard to get back on track.

The one thing that has kept me going (trust me, one week and not having the desire to throw in the towel is HUGE for me) is telling myself that it's ok to start with small changes. It's okay to not only eat carrot sticks, whole wheat bread and egg whites. It's ok to not try to run a marathon or workout Biggest Loser style. Right now, my goal is to eat what I want, but keep it within my calorie range. If I want a bagel, fine, but I go for the bagel thins instead of the big guns. If I want cream cheese, cool, I go for fat free or reduced fat. Just small, tiny changes. I drink a soda...the real deal, not the diet...every morning when I'm at work because coffee hurts my stomach. I just make sure I put it into my calories. I also took my total calories "allowed" and divided it by 3 (since I don't snack) so I have a general idea of how many calories I want to eat at each meal....it isn't always exact, but it helps keep me from using up all my calories at breakfast. Just remember it's not a race. Go at a pace that is comfortable for YOU.

I went through this recently and know how you feel. The only thing I can tell you is keep trying. I broke my hadn a year ago and could lift weights, which led to ditching cardio, which led to getting lazy about counting calories which led to regaining 20lbs. I have been trying for the last six months to get myself together and only managed to do it in the last month.
