Be careful

Just a little advice to those trying to get on the home based fitness programs. Cross Fit and PX90 are great as are others, but for beginners, older adults, and persons with joint/area injuries, can be too harsh. Look for a program that starts you out in a beginner's phase, and GRADUALLY increases the tolerance. Also, look for a program designed by someone with actual education in a fitness related field. Just because he/she played sports, does not mean they are qualified to help teach just anyone. The best trainers, in my opinion, are those who hold degrees in fitness education, as well as a certification. A certification can be bought online for a price. Drive on!

Also, make sure you have a tolerant friend or loved one around the day after you try plyometrics the first time. They may be needed to help you do anything normal, less masochistic people can do.

Agreed! P90x is NO JOKE. People should be somewhat fit before trying to start those programs. There's a fitness test that one should take before they start these programs.

    Good tip!

Too many unqualified people "designing" fad work outs...
