Certain parts of me feel smaller, and tighter, but I still have a gut. It's so annoying :( Makes me feel like I've lost nothing. Gahhh. For those of you who lost a significant amount of weight for your body type, how did your weight loss play out in certain areas? I think mine has been my face, (now) my calves/thighs, and the maybe the belly. I have no idea, though.

Belly is last for most everyone. For me, my first loss was in my face, then chest and legs and some in the middle section.

Oh well, at least it is coming off!

If you are not sure, start measuring!

    Best of luck!

Face definitely comes first, belly comes last. I'm still struggling with burning off the last few extra stomach pounds.

I am sure that people who know you see a lot bigger difference in yourself than you do. I have a hard time noticing my progress, but I get comments on it all the time from friends and family.

I have lost 55 pounds so far, still have 100 to lose and the ONLY place I see a weight loss is in my face and that is when I compare 2 photo ID's I have. I think it is a LOT harder to see it on yourself....

It's always a good idea to track your measurements. Sometimes you can't see the changes right away. It's never to late to start!

If you are a pear shape the abdomen is the last place you will lose it. It also depends on how much you have to lose, if it's a lot it will take longer to see the results you want. But don't give up you will see results if you stick with it. Good luck.

I have always had a belly no matter how much weight loss or gain. It's starting to improve though. This round it's been, my arms, and chest at first, a tiny bit off my belly, then my legs, then a little off my belly again, now my butts starting to change, but I still need to work on my belly.

I lose a little everywhere on my body... but I think I notice more on my legs, my belly has gone down a lot but then again I had a huge belly before lol, my shoulders look much nicer and I just recently started to lose on my face. So to me the last part was my face. Im still not done though :)

The last time I lost weight (years ago...) I was talking to a trainer who said that if you're doing it the healthy way you'll start from the top down and bottom up and finally see results in your midsection... seems pretty accurate from my own experience and everyone else I've talked to about it.

I do measure. I haven't lately, because I'm waiting for another month. My little sister measured the first time.. incorrectly, so now I'm basing it off of nothing :( I was purely looking for a more personal response to myself I guess.

Whatever is your largest (fattest) area will be the last to show even though it is losing.

Hey there...I think I'm in the same dang shape as before just a smaller version. And yes, the gut is still there...(sigh). :ohwell: I do notice that my legs are more toned and my arms do look slimmer. I've lost some back fat too. I feel though that I looke the same. Blah...only 2 people have noticed my weight loss as well...which kind of stinks. I just wonder when the jelly belly will begin to vanish.

Let's keep at it...we'll eventually get there.
Let's stay focused on our goal...
