I wanna start doing HIIT more often. The only thing I've been doing is running at 5.5 for 10 mins then walking for 5. or on the elliptical, 30 seconds super fast with a high incline and then 30 seconds at a "regular" pace and incline.

But I don't have alot of time this evening, (35 mins ish) and need to get a good burn in. I also would like to start doing HIIT 2x per week or so. I know it keeps the body guessing.

What are some HIIT workouts you enjoy or can recommend to me?

HIIT is meant to be 12-20 minute in length, after warm-ups. I do mine on the treadmill. I warm up for 3 minutes then do intervals of 40 second sprints followed by 80 second recovery jogging breaks. each cycle takes 2 minutes and I do 5-8 sets depending on energy levels and amount of time I have. I typically do my sprints at 10.5-11MPH and my recovery jogs at 6.3-6.6.

If you have a track nearby another way is to run for 200 meters (half a lap) then jog 100-200 meters (until you feel ready to run again), then repeat
