Nutrition Label Question

I am eating some barbecue, and the label has confused me! Here's a photo of the label:

The calories from fat number is HIGHER than the calories number, which has me confused. Shouldn't it be the same or less than the total calorie number? Perhaps it is a typo? I don't understand how 1 serving can have 250 calories but 340 are from fat.
250/serving is WAY too low for this packaged barbecue anyway, maybe it's supposed to be 520?

Any ideas?

Looks like a typo to me. I'd guess that you're right, and it was supopsed to be 520 for the serving. When in doubt, don't eat it. Make another choice.

Seems like a typo. You can use these numbers as a guide too:

•carbohydrate per serving — 4 calories per gram
•protein per serving — 4 calories per gram
•fat per serving — 9 calories per gram

Using this, it looks like your BBQ is about 518cals per serving, not 250. I'd call the company, ha!

This makes no sense. Don't eat it. It looks like it's loaded with saturated fat. There are definitely better choices out there.

Definitely confusing. I think there's an error in there somewhere. The sodium, and fat count alone would make me put it right back! ;)

yea, having to actually enter the nutrition info (because it wasn't in the system yet) actually kept me from eating it because I saw all the other info instead of just quick adding the calories. so it all worked out in the end any way! SUPER fatty! Yay mfp, another possible high calorie meal avoided!
