I've lost my mojo.....

I had twins 5 months ago (which were babies 4 & 5) and I am having the hardest time losing the weight! I had 10 lbs to lose before I got pregnant, and still have another 15 lbs of post-pregnancy weight to lose (25 lbs total).

I start the day out doing good but when I get to work and see all the good foods/desserts that are 'up for grabs', I just lose my motivation. Here in New Orleans its almost a curse to be around so much good food.

What do I have to do to stay motivated? Losing weight has never been this challenging to me...is it the age maybe? (41 y/o)

I work full time at a law firm, also have a jewerly making business at home, and am constantly doing for the twins in my "free time" at home. By the time I am finished, I just don't have any of me left to workout. LOL Yesterday I did Pilates at 5:30 a.m. (before the babies got up) but geez, there just are not enough hours in a day!

Hope that's not too much to absorb in a "meet and greet'! LOL

Chew gum at work? Brush your teeth every hour? I hate the food in the break room thing too.

I hear you on the finding time to work out and I only have 3 kids. I try to get up at 6am (and can only do that now that the baby sleeps through the night) but half the time I hit the snooze until 6:30 and/or one kid or another wakes up and I'm trying to do Turbo Fire while dodging children.

    Good luck!

Thanks very much...I am glad someone can feel my pain! LOL The worst thing of all is that the work food isn't confined to the kitchen, it's on each floor (next to my desk most of the time so when I am able to decline all offers, the smell still reaches me!) Ughhh. Oh well, I guess we can do whatever we put our minds to doing, right?

Your babies are only 4 months! You've done great so far. Just keep at it. Can you move it to the break room or something? Will someone be upset if it isn't by your desk?
