Anyone have suggestions on how to keep my wrists from hurting so bad when doing side planks? Or is there hope that as I get stronger my wrists will to?

Advise?

You can do them on your elbows when your wrists get sore.

Edit because that might lead to just your elbow being on the floor lol...I mean FOREARM not elbow :)

My trainer always had me rest on my forearms instead of my hands. And yeah, they are still hell.

I have one bad wrist too ( repetitive work for many yrs) Almost looks like a bone sticks out at times. I have troubles with that wrist as well, just try our best I guess. The forearm idea I may just try

wrist braces- like the gymnasts wear- or rest on your forearms.

I just got a visual of someone trying a side plank on their ELBOW. Ouch! haha :)

I do the bent arm version (forearm on ground). Still gives you a workout.

i do mine on my forearms, never even thought to go up to my hands... but if your core is really strong, you might have to stay there longer to get the same work..
