Hi All!
I am completely new at this but am so excited to try it out....
I have always been the girl with the "pretty face" my whole life and I'm sick and tired of it. We all know what it means when someone says "but you have such a pretty face" aka your fat hunny.
I have hit my peak at 267 lbs. and have taken off 10 lbs. so far. I had my gall bladder removed in 2009 and I feel like everything went down hill from there.
I put on 100 pounds in 18 months time. It's so hard to get out of bed in the morning because physically I don't feel well. My legs hurt, my feet ache, and I'm tired all day long.
I just want to be healthy, not skinny. I'm so thankful for this website, and to have the opportunity to connect with like -minded people going through the same struggles and victories

Hi,
Please feel free to add me as a friend on MFP for support/encouragement. I had my gallbladder removed in 2007. I have type II diabetes, high bloodpressure, and high cholesterol. With a family history of heart disease and stroke, I want to get in shape for myself and my family. Good luck on your weight loss journey. I find this website to be helpful in tracking my food/calorie intake and exercise/calories burned very helpful. Everyone on here has a story and willing to share their exepriences with you. Have a great night.0 -

Well you've come to the right place. We're full of a bunch of pretty faces, ready for someone to compliment our body first--who would have thought we'd actually look forward to it. You will do well here getting healthy and controlling urges. I wish you the best of luck!0

Hi Megan & welcome!
I am fairly new here as well. I understand your frustration with the gallbladder thing. Mine was a medication that caused me to gain over 100 lbs - it is so irritating when you have circumstances like that which are really almost beyond our control! But kudos to you for fighting back. This is a fantastic website!
Feel free to add me as a friend & good luck on your journey!
Cheers,
Tammy :flowerforyou:0
