4th of July means camping for us...my hubby, me & our 6 kids. I'm trying to find healthy grab & go foods that are camp friendly. Last years Pop Tarts, hot dogs, and fruit snacks have to go! I'm thinking fresh fruits, trail mix, et. Any advice??

Granola bars, lots of fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, stuff for healthy sandwiches (turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, etc), yogurts, fruit cups. Just a few ideas....0

For snacks you can get Fiber one bars(90 calories) and they taste like candy!!!! You can also bring fruit with some peanut butter, those are easy to keep fresh. You also should stock up on some beef jerkey. A few hot dogs aren't going to kill you if you do a lot of physical activity, just watch the condiments and the amount you eat.0

I just came back and went with: multigrain bars, alfresco chicken sausages, (breakfast and dinner flavors), pancakes with sugar free syrup, bud light lime, popcorn, 90% beef burgers, quakes, and birds eye steam bags (our camper has a small microwave). Did go out to eat once where I had a salad with a crab cake. We did lots of walking, playing on the paddle boats, in and out of the pool, etc. It was an awesome trip....Have fun!!0
