I did the 30 DS last month. I don't feel like doing it again and I haven't gotten arround to buying another CD. Has anyone ever just done parts of the CD? I want to do some extra ab work and decided just to zap through the rest of the CD only doing the 9 minutes of abs (along with the elliptical thatI usually do.

Does anyone think it will be worth the effort?

anything is worth the effort if the alternative is doing nothing!!!

Why even bother with the DVD? It can be harder to push yourself but just do the ab exercises you like.

I like the ab exercises that she does and I like the fact that she pushes and times me. At least when I skip through the DVD, I know how long I am doing it and I stay motivated to complete the 9 minutes.

Whatever works for u is great! But try Jackie warner's dvd. I think it's the personal trainer one. She has an ab workout that is hard but doable. She is similar to jillian michaels so u will be familiar with the set up. I have no core strength but when I do hers I always feel like I accomplished something. Even if I don't complete it.

Hey frats. If you are thinking of getting another DVD maybe get Banish Fat Boost Metabolism - it has 7 x 5 minute cardio circuits including one which is exclusively abs. Or, No More Trouble Zones which is also 7 x 5. It uses the weights like 30DS and one circuit is all abs and another three focus on core strength.
