Cool Down

Hello MFP! I've recently lengthened my workout durations and up'ed the intensity as well. I was just curious as to how you all cool down post workout and for how long? Do you eat anything after a good workout? What's your cool down routine???

I'll do 3mph at a 4.0 incline for 10 minutes, stretch really good, and then protein shake or a RTD protein. I might throw in a banana or apple.0

*bump* i'd like to know what others say cause I hate cooling down LOL
and i usually eat something with protein and/or fruits post workout0 -
I do the P90X videos and after each one there is 3-5 minutes of just light stretching and movement to get your heart rate back down to normal....so I do that. I always have a protein shake afterwards. Sometimes it's a basic one just mixed with water, but other times I use almond milk or juice and add fruit, depends on how hungry I am or how many calories I burned!0
