Well, I previously posted a suggestion for a workout based on getting three sleeping kids into the house, changed, and in bed, upstairs. Here's another one:
Put kid number 1 to bed. Come downstairs, play with kid number 2 and 3. Ask kid number 2 if she wants to sleep in your bed for nap time. HOPEFULLY she won't fight it so hard. She says yes. Ask kid number 3 if he would like to lay with her for a while. He says yes. Bring them upstairs, tuck them in. Leave them there. 1 hour later (after you've cleaned up all the toys, vacuumed, swept, done the dishes, put in a load of laundry, and gathered all the books that belong upstairs), go upstairs and notice God awful smell coming from your bedroom. Panic. Rush into the room to find kid number 2 (2 years old) and kid number 3 (3 years old) on your bed, with white, red and clear finger nail polish all over them. And your black and white bedding. FREAK OUT. Send them to the bathroom an order them to strip. Give 2 wiggly cranky kids a bath, at the same time. Get them out and dressed and order them to their personal little couches. Strip your bed and bring the sheets downstairs. SCRUB every individual spot of polish with a cotton ball and acetone (because your mom says that is the ONLY way it will come out. She should know, she does nails for a living.) Put bedding in the laundry. Once done (of course, it takes THREE loads) haul each load individually up 22 stairs. Re-make your queen size bed which is up against a wall and requires that the bed be moved in order to reach the top corner. Oofta. Thanks kids for giving me my physical workout today!
