Hi im new and very serious about losing weight

Just joined today. I am a member of the army wives forums (thats how i found this site)
I used to be 185 and now i am 145, been 145 for about 6 months and now im trying to lose the rest of it.
My goal weight is 130. I realy hope this site can help me.

    It just takes a little work on your part. My advice is educate yourself on healthy eating. Buy a food scale and watch portions. Limit processed and fast foods. Cook fresh Veggies and Meats. Eat whole grain Low carb Low Cal Breads and Pasta. Fresh Fruits. Did I say watch Portions. In the beginning it will be hard to get over cravings. But if you stick with it you will. Don't drink your calories. Did I say watch portions. Oh and watch portions.

    I'm struggling with losing weight. I eat so healthily and always have. I find it so frustrating to see what seems like the rest of my world eating what they like and staying slim! I am not counting my calories very strictly and trying to get motivated for exercise!

    Hello,I receny joined again this week.....it's been very helpful to track my calories and exercise and I realized I've been eating way too much! Portion control is probably my main problem so I'm trying to be more aware of that along w/ limiting carbs which is also another problem I have! Good luck!
