Hi there- I'd really appreciate some advice on this....

I would like to cook the following recipe from the BBC website; http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/blueberry_and_chilli_11759

It does stipulate a fairly fatty cut of meat, which isn't ideal for a healthy eating regime, however after the initial cooking time you discard the fat and skin from the joint and also the chicken stock that you cook the meat in. If you were following this recipe how would you handle it on the recipe calculator?

I've got everything sitting in the fridge so it's going to be cooked whatever - him indoors and I were drooling when we saw it cooked on the telly!

Thanks for any thoughts,
gbed

I haven't a clue how to calculate it in the recipe calculator....definately a quandry!!

Although, I checked out that recipe - and I'm thinking the blueberry/molasses glaze would be delectable over some lean pork chops....So hungry now!!

I'll have to let you know how it goes... Perhaps I'll have to be extremely abstemious with my other meal choices tomorrow and Friday!
(The meat is in the oven now for its slow cook, ready to be revived tomorrow evening...)
