Insanity workout helped marathon training

I love Beachbody products, but I find it hard to believe that Insanity alone prepared him to run 26 miles, Insanity is hardcore, but it just doesn't make sense to me.
Yes, he finished, but by doing Insanity alone for two months, yeah i don't buy it

Insanity worked for me.... Before doing insanity I would struggle to complete 2 miles after insanity I can run 3 miles and feel great afterwards and I can do sprints where before I couldn't. So I think insanity does help but don't know if to the extent of running 26 miles.0
