Healthy Options at Riu Resorts?

I will be travelling to an all-inclusive RIU resort soon... I do plan on the occasional splurge, but don't want to undo all my work. Does anyone know if they have healthy offerings? I don't really want to have to pack my own breakfast bars and such, but will if the options are in doubt.

Any input would be appreciated!!

You should have no problem at your resort. They will probably have lots of fresh fruit all the time. There's also usually a big salad bar at lunch and dinner. There are also usually tons of protein and starch choices.
Try to avoid/limit fatty meats with heavy, oily sauces, cheese, creamy salad dressing and desserts and pastries.

When I vacation at an all inclusive, with health in mind, I eat fruit and coffee for breakfast, veggies/salad, rice, and lean meat for lunch and dinner.

I avoid dairy because I find it bloating and that's not a good look in a bikini :)
Also, I try to stick to eating at the buffet as opposed to the al la cartes because you can see what you are choosing.

As for drinking, I try to limit the pina coladas... however, for me, drinking is where I splurge.

    Have a great vacation!!!!!

Thanks, Lexy. Good to know that I'm covered. Similar to you, I'm not one to give in to temptations until I get to the bar! ;) Luckily, my favourite is gin and soda, so at least it's not too terrible!

I just wanted to make sure that at least there are options that aren't all pasta and sauces and oily prepared dishes - salad bars I can definitely deal with though :) Crossing my fingers that breakfast will include an omlette station that will prepare just egg whites!
