Less exercise = More hungry????

I have noticed an odd trend for me - the days I don't exercise at all, or can only fit in a little, I feel like I am starving all day! The days I exercise at least 45 minutes I have less of the hungry feelings. This is especially true in the evening. Yesterday was crazy - got NO exercise in. Last night I was ready to eat the house! Previously, 45-60 minutes of exercise, no evening hunger pangs at all? Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this? And, why is that the case?

Stress maybe? Exercise is often a great mood booster for me.0

the same thing happens to me a lot, I think it may be more mental. Sometimes when I tell myself I have to have more restraint because I did not exercise then I want to eat more and when I say, okay you worked out hard so you can have a little extra dinner or a treat for dessert many times I don't end up eating because I am not hungry for it. I think it ends up balancing out at some point.0

The same thing happens to me. Days I work out I am just flat out not as hungry, it has nothing to do with me feeling like I worked out therefore I shouldn't eat junk.
I just don't get hungry, I have to make sure I eat my meals, because on days I work out its that much more important to eat my calories.0 -
Same thing happens with me. I have read that moderate exercise can decrease your appetite for several hours after your workout because blood is directed away from the stomach to your working muscles. Don't know how much truth there is to this, and I have no background in the area, but I wondered the same before and had looked it up online.0

Me too! On the days I don't work out, I want to eat all day long...the days I do and I have all these extra calories to eat up, I don't want to eat. Weird. Another thing I have noticed is that on the days I don't workout, I feel really sluggish and feel like eating crap. (probably why i'm sluggish!), and I don't drink enough water either.
I didn't workout yesterday and haven't had a chance to today yet, and I actually feel guilty! Before I would just be like "oh well". lol.0
