Bikini Baristas - Have em, Want em?
So... just wondering. List the places ya'll live, and if you have Bikini Baristas, and if you like em.
Then you can say if you go to them, or if you would and why.
For example:
Seattle, WA has them. I got to them every so often because....
Well lets face it, men are visually oriented. Why do you think men go to a public swimming area? Trust me... we don't like swimming that much.
If I can get a coffee for 5 bucks
or
a coffee and a show by a hottie pretending to like me for 5 bucks....

Well I'm not entirely sure what a "barista" is haha but sounds like it could be fun. I live in the southtowns of Buffalo NY and as far as I know, we don't have them. But I see nothing wrong with enjoying the site of girls in bikinis either! No I am not a lesbian, and not really bi, but I think its natural to appreciate a beautiful body!0

I think they're only south in Federal Way and in other places. I think it's terrible! Those girls could be doing the same job WITH their shirts on... and actually get some respect.0

Seriously there was a disclaimer on the OP... Its meant for fun people.. I say sure bikinis and coffee, its harmless and doesnt degrade women IMO. Im pretty sure there is nobody making these girls do it, they make butt-loads of tips and seem to be having fun.. Its bikinis people not nudity.. Bring on the boobies and lighten up 0

Really? Well I guess tips are good. If they were here on the Eastside people would have a fit! I've just seen them on the news lol - every so often someone gets offended and it makes it's way onto the news. I had no idea that they were still popular. I was a barista at Caribou Coffee (Best job/co-workers I've ever had) in college and I did just fine getting tips while wearing jeans, tee-shirt and apron...
I dunno, something about espresso mixed with swimsuit wedgies mixed with uncovered armpits in the restaurant business just doesn't sound good to me...
Although I love wearing a bathing suit and being at the lake, I don't think I could ever work in one...at least not without a good supply of double-sided tape...0 -

Also, just realized...when I worked there I got splashed plenty of times while steaming milk or pouring coffee...it hurt bad enough with clothes as a barrier, I can't imagine getting burned on bare skin....OW...0 -

We do NOT have bikini baristas in WY; but I am thinking I can capitalize on this for our big 4th of July rodeo/celebration and add a cowboy hat and some spurs to the bikini bit and make some coinage! LOL Winters get a little LONG in WY (we've been known to have snow in June), so I know alot of ranch hands who would TOTALLY appreciate this new twist on the coffee cabins here!
