I have been on MFP for about 1.5 months now. I'be been finding it really useful to regain control of my eating habits. I log everything and really like to check how I have done each day but.....soooo many database entries have the wrong sodium data. I think there is an issue here that in England our packaging typically shows sodium in grams, but this database asks for mg. All it takes is for people to realise and enter it in correctly....or for MFP to have a selection box for the user to chose mg or g.

OK....rant over! ha ha

agree, i ignore the sodium on the database as I seem to go over every day by at least 50% which is def not right.

I drink enough water & am losing between 1-2lbs a week so figure it doesn't impact me that much.

As helpful as it is to have the database here...it's very frustrating to search for a food and then find tons of entries on the same damn thing and then seeing different numbers when comparing which one to use. I wish there were a better way of streamlining it.

It is entirely possible for you to go over that much. If the cause was the mg/g issue, you'd be off by much more than 50%. If everything is working for you and you don't have high blood pressure, continue ignoring it. If you are at risk for high BP, you should watch sodium.
