I have seen a lot of posts asking opinions about this diet. I personally didn't know anything about it or what it was.
I am not sure if anyone watches Dr Oz but I just watched yesterday show. They did a segment on the HCG Diet.
If anyone is interested here is the link.

After watching it. It is not something I would try.

Thansk for the cool link! But that one is only the preview of the episode....
This link shows the actual episode:

the reason people lose weight on HCG is because of their extremely low caloric intake.
that's it, and that's that.0 -
A chiropractor friend of mine is pushing the HCG diet. He told me about it. It sounded insane. I'm just going to stick to counting calories and exercising.0

I have a friend who is selling this and pushing it on me... I am sorry, but I refuse to do anything to lose weight that I cannot/would not be able to do for the rest of my life. This is a radical, "trend" diet... and I'm sure it will come back and bite them in the butt later. They will either gain all the weight back, or they will soon link health issues to the serious cutback in calories. One girl who did the diet fainted and fell down the stairs and broke her arm. Really? This sounds like starvation mode to me.. NO THANKS!!
Eating healthy food, exercising, and counting cals in/out are what I'm all about... for the rest of my life!!
Stay healthy, my friends...0
