With a spoon....ok sorry that was the first thing that came to my mind when I read your title.

Seriously, I sprinkle from Equal or other no-calorie sweetener on it.

With a spoon, aha. That is ONE way to eat it.

I can't stand grapefruit. It's not because it's "sour" (I'm fine with extra sour oranges, and even lemons), but it has this weird bitter flavor to it.

I think the ruby pink grapefruits are sweeter than the other kind. But when you peel it take off all the pith and membrane because that is what makes it bitter. This is a good citrus salad I made last summer for a party, very refreshing.

Does anyone have a recipe for a grapefruit salad - not a dessert fruit salad but a savoury one to have along side fish or chicken?
I was thinking of something like baby spinach, grapfruit segments, walnuts, maybe goats cheese or fetta... but I can't quite think what would work well.
My dad has an overflowing grapefruit tree, so I'd love to think of how to eat some!
