I've had a huge amount of stress the last few weeks, and it's really taken a toll on my eating choices. I'd fallen back into old, bad habits of eating my stress away. Tonight was kind of the topper, and after dinner I put on my shoes & iPod, and went out for a walk. I don't (yet) have the endurance to walk until I'm not stressed anymore, but I do feel quite a bit better, partly because I realized that I used a healthier technique to deal with the stuff that's going on that I can't control. I see even more walking than before in my future!

Walking, even if you can't go as far as you would like to, is a good way to burn off a lot of things. I walk when I am stressed, or wound up for some reason. I also walk when I am mad or if I need time to think something over. Good for you!! This was one of your great successes!
