Is it worth logging calories burned whilst strength training?

Yes definately, even though it's not like cardio in that it doesn't burn huge amounts of calories it still matters. Plus your muscles need fueling.
I would use a HRM for the most accurate calorie burn, MFP's burn isn't that accurate IMO.0 -

From what I've read, HRM calorie numbers are only accurate during aerobic exercises (running, etc.).0
