My geeky thoughts on this: how much have we contributed to global warming with the metabolic by-products of 20 million pounds of fat / muscle ?
OK, probably not that much. but it was the first image that popped into my head.
Possibly, but look at it this way. In order to lose the weight MFPers had to eat less than they were previously which means less growing, raising, and shipping of the food was needed, which would actually cause less GHG's to be emitted through those processes which would probably more than offset the increase based on your theory.0 -
