Chicken Marsala
This is a simple low fat chicken recipe but it is also elegant.
Servings: 4
• 1 15 ounce can herb seasoned tomato sauce
• 8 oz fresh mushrooms sliced
• 1/2 teaspoon sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
• 2 pounds skinless chicken breasts
• 2 tablespoons Marsala Wine
Place chicken in a 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. Mix sauce mushrooms, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir in Marsala and pour over chicken. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 F. for thirty minutes. Serve warm.
Per Serving: 303 Calories
3g Fat (9.9% calories from fat)
55g Protein
11g Carbohydrate
2g Dietary Fiber
132mg Cholesterol
927mg Sodium.
Exchanges: 0 Grain(Starch); 7 1/2 Lean Meat; 2 Vegetable; 0 Fat; 0 Other Carbohydrates.

Hm...I was wondering the same thing...it says 4 servings, but it's a 13x9 pan....and the chicken would break down to 8 oz.. per serving if we went by that.
Which is actually 2 servings according to how I eat. (3-4 oz. protein per meal)....
Hm, wonder if it's actually supposed to be 8? no clue....guess I would just break it down for myself as 8 servings...:drinker:
