How to make the best use out of myfitnesspal???

I'm new here! im still trying to figure out every aspect of the website.

Few things are a little complicated for me to understand.......

Just wanted to know how can i make the best use out of this site to lose my weight.... and how to use almost every feature of this site to its best??

    Read the FAQ... that should get your started. And I learned alot just lurking around the message boards.

    SW = Starting Weight
    CW = Current Weight
    GW = Goal Weight

    As far as making the most of the site... do you have a smart phone? Download the free MFP (myfitnesspal) app right away. It's great to have on the go. I even find myself using it in the kitchen instead of running back to my computer.

    1. Track food!!
    2. Take measurements.. don't just rely on the scale
    3. Make friends - they will totally help you every step of the way.. the good days and the bad days =)
    4. Check out the message boards... they cover everything
    5. Enjoy the ride!!

    Definitely get the app for your phone, that way it is easier to log food and be diligent about it.
