I have noticed peo[le responding to comments by writing "bump". What does this mean?

    people do that so it appears in "my topics" later so it's easily referred back to

    I bump threads to keep them at the top of "my topics". I do this mainly with recipe threads

    and also so it's "bumped" back up to the top of the topics list (which it does everytime someone replies)
