I use "no salt added" cans so your macros may end up different than mine. I've started using dried kidney beans to make this a little better, health-wise but I haven't changed it in my diary recipe, so the macros might be a little better than I'm showing at the bottom of this post. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!!

1 lb. ground turkey
1 diced onion
1 T diced fresh jalapeno pepper
1 15 oz. can kidney beans w/ liquid
1 14.5 oz. can peeled diced tomatoes
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 T white vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 bay leaf

1.) Brown ground turkey in a large saucepan over medium heat. Drain fat.
2.) Add onion and pepper and saute for about two minutes.
3.) Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

Serve one cup in a bowl with an optional garnish of grated cheddar cheese, finely diced onion and whole jalapenos.

One serving (for me) is about 1.25 cups and here are the macros for the chili without the garnish toppings:

Cals - 344
Carbs - 25
Fat - 17
Protein - 20
Sugar - 7
Fiber - 6
