My son is allergic to dairy. He's sort of built a tolerance to it but if he has too much he gets sick. He loves ice cream but I haven't found any soy type. I know it's not a healthy choice but for a treat we love ice cream. Has anyone ever seen soy ice cream?

I am vegan - so I have tried it all ... I guess the first question is ... what is his favorite type of regular ice cream - then we can go form there ... and hopefully save you some $$ ...

My cousin just got over his lactose intolerance, but we would get him Rice Dream ice cream. We found it at Kroger and Walmart. It's quite yummy and he was excited that he got an entire quart of ice cream to himself that no one else was allowed to eat
