Hi MFP family! I'm a hospice nurse and MR/DD nurse and I enjoy taking care of others and their families. I'm turning 40 in December and I'm about 80 lbs overweight. I'm married with two teens and somewhere along the line, I just stopped taking care of me.

I just joined MFP last Friday the 24th and I'm very excited about weighing in tomorrow to see how much weight I've lost.
I love the support and positivity from the people on this website!!! LOVE IT!

I wasn't always overweight. The pounds just came on over the decades. I've tried to lose weight several times in the past since I've gained and normally quit after the 2nd week. The third week I ALWAYS GIVE UP! I'm starting into my second week tomorrow and I'm ready for the challenge.

I've decided to join the MFP Biggest Loser Challenge to help keep me motivated and accountable. I am on the BLUE TEAM.
If you are a positive person and wanna follow the competition and don't mind cheering for the BLUE TEAM, please add me as a friend. I look forward to seeing other people's food and exercise diaries so I can push forward and hopefully become The Biggest Loser.

Here is a link that you can follow that has all of the team's bio info. He even posted a link where you can download a banner of the team you're rooting for. GO BLUE!

Well I am on an opposing team but I will give you these words of encouragement, if I can do it you can! I have tried every diet in the book! I' ve tried websites, and groups, food delivery, and books, even medical weight loss centers and nothing kept me motivated! I would always quit. I still have in my house 3-4 months of Nutrisystem food that I never ate cause I gave up and quit! Today is Day 2 of week 17 for me and I am still going strong! I have never stuck with anything this long!!! There is something about this site and these people that keep you motivated and keep you going! You can do it we all can do it!

Girl you rock! That's the kind of motivation I'm talking about. I'm going to message you if I start feeling like giving up.
