I know Dave & Buster's doesn't publish their menu's nutritional info but there are some available. I've seen two different calorie counts for the Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken. One is 250 calories and one is 449 calories. Anybody know which one is the most accurate? I've defaulted to the 449 but if it's really 250, I'd like to know.

Create a recipe in your foods and include all the ingredients. The sodium will probably be off because chains use soooo much salt to flavor their foods during processing and cooking. But everything else should be close. Make sure you have the right portions too. That will make a big difference.

I'm assuming that's with dressing? I'd definately use the higher one. The lower number might be without dressing.

And honestly, i'm thinking the higher number is too low. Did you check Chili's or Applebees for a comprable number?

Just a FYI, I looked it up on both sites. Applebees had a Santa Fe chicken salad. Are you sitting down? 1240 calories.

Chili's had a Carribean. It was 610 calories.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I make my own version at home using plain yogurt with a tsp. of dry ranch dressing mix and cholula hot sauce for the dressing. It does come out to about 250 calories with grilled/baked chicken and 1/4 of an avocado added.

The Applebees salad contains sour cream, a huge scoop of guacamole and ranch dressing. I haven't seen or ordered the salad from Chili's so I can't compare it. While the Dave & Buster's salad does contain dressing, it's very sparse and almost a dry salad. It has about 1/4 of an avocado, sliced. I order salsa on the side and add that to give it some zing and dress it up. I omit the tortilla strips and cheese even though they are sparse too.
