I started with slimfast and my weight started to go down as I had hoped but then it leveled off so I joined the gym and started to lose the weight but again its slow going I was told by the gym instructor that I should eat 3 or 4 meals a day but my slimfast says 2 shakes and 1 meal a day I eat fruit and a few nuts but it seems to have leveled off again can anyone tell me ways to get it moving again as I only have 28lb's to lose or hope to:mad:

Get off the slimfast and start eating good healthy meals. Educate yourself on healthy eating. Just go online and google healthy recipes. If you take that stuff you are going to gain all the weight back as soon as you start eating food again. Unless you plan to drink your meals forever?0

get off slimfast.....stop complex carbs by noon, swiich to fruits vegs all day and stop by 7, up your protein and eat 5 -6 meals a day

hi there well I started in april and the first few weeks it was going well but then it stopped so I joined the gym and my weight has gone from 16st7lb and now at 14st 11 and have been trying both slimfast and normal food and even at the gym I burn or so it tells me when I add them up that I burn about 1500cal's or more but still there are times my weight dont move but been on here it helps me keep a check on what I eat and excersise and without it I think I would not have a clue, will do my weigh in on monday and hope to have lost somthink

Have to say I agree with this. Slim fast may cause weight loss, but what are you going to do once you stop drinking it. Honestly have you ever met anyone who was successful long term by only eating one meal a day and replacing the other two with a not so great tasting shake?
I started eating 5 to 6 times a day all between 200 and 300 calories to keep my metabolism up. I stick to "clean" unprocessed foods and the weight has started falling off!0
