feeling a little discouraged

My weight loss is going smooth. I am averaging about 1.6-2.0lbs per week of weight loss. I have lost JUST under 19lbs (might as well call it 19 its so close). My waist (the smallest area, anyway) has gone down about 3 inches. Other areas have gone down around an inch as well. However, my hips have not. Actually, a couple times I have measured MORE around my waist than the time before. It's a little discouraging because my hips are the one and ONLY part of my body that I do not like. My hips are what's keeping me in a size 26-28 pants. Without my hips i'd probably be able to fit at most a size 22-24. I need advice!

    just keep doing what you're doing...it will happen :) dont give up!

    Just keep going. It takes some time. I find that I go down a size every 25-30 lbs.
  • Just keep doing what you're doing, the fat comes off in different places at different times and we can't control that piece but with some time, it will come off your hips too. My tough areas are my belly and my thighs and those are slowly getting smaller finally lol

    Keep at it, and also maybe get on Amazon and buy The Biggest Loser Workout 2. It has a 15 minute workout specifically for hips, butt, and thighs.
