I'm really excited about being on track since last Wed (almost a week, go me:noway: ) Well, here's the deal, I worked out hard Wed, Thurs, & Fri (burning around 500 cal/day) and eating back my calories and all that...was SO sore, took a break from exercise on Sat, but still counted calories. On Sunday, I eagerly got in the floor for more exercising and got up this morning d r a g g i n g !!! I am so tired, yet I want to stay on track. I still have the desire, sitting in the middle of the waggon smiling, but I'm SO tired. Has anyone got a suggestion for this abnormal feeling? haha

Sounds like you're doing great, but remember not to over do it, your body is telling you to take a rest, so rest for today or just take a nice leisurely walk and go at it again.

Congratulations on all the hard work.

Congrats on the progress and the stick-with-it-ness!!

But yes, you do need to allow your body time to catch up! Take it down a notch for a few days and maybe just do cardio. Stretch lots and rub your sore muscles. It helps to move blood through and heal the fibers.
  • Listen to neverbeenskinny, she's probably got it right :)
    Listen to your body.
You can also change up exercises too if you insist on trying to work out every day: Like one day work a part of your body and another day another part.
Rest is important. This means take a look at how well you are sleeping? Are you getting enough sleep?
Maybe you want to try to program rest days every three days?
Are you eating good things for you and drinking lots of water?
Get a good breakfast and eat fruit during the day are two things that work for me to keep my energy up :) an apple an hour before work out gives me a boost.
In the end, stick with it, but also allow your body the time it needs to rest.
Good luck and hope this could help.
