Exercise tips on burning calories at work.....

I'm at work from 8AM-4PM. My butt is basically glued to my chair. I'd like to know if there are any tips out there on exercising while i'm at work without leaving my area. (My boss is gone for 2 weeks so this is a good time) :flowerforyou:

    Good question, I'm here from 8-5 and I spend almost 6 hrs in my chair! :[

    I usually walk for 30 mins around the office parking lot. If you get an hour for lunch you can do that. Also if you have stairs you can go up and down them for like 15 mins its a great way to tone your legs and butt!! I climbed the three flights like 6 times I was so tired!

    I requested a special desk which allows you to stand or sit. The computer monitor and keyboard / mouse tray are mounted on a pole that slides up and down... slide it up to stand and slide it down to sit. That helps a lot. I also stand whenever I am doing paperwork that doesn't require my computer. Considering I sit at the very back of the building, volunteering to get the mail at the front of the building and using the restroom on the other side of the building also adds up little by little :)
