The big 3-0!

Today I finally reached the big 30. The further into this weight loss I am the easier it is feeling. I started in February with the goal of just being below 200. It felt so easy getting there and I was loving the gym and compliments at work so I kept going. Now that I'm at 30 lbs down I am thinking of going even further to 40 lbs and if I get there maybe 50. In any case, 30 feels great. I am one pant size down, working heart rate is 20 bpm than when I started and even my bratty high school students have told me that I am looking good with how much weight I lost. I need to dig the camera out and post some pictures. I leave for a 3 week trip/internship next Friday so I am just planning on maintaining for a few weeks and then going full force again when I return.

If you are starting out and not sure I really recommend starting with small goals. The motivation of reaching them is enough to make you want to go further.

Congrats on all your progress!! It's so true too, I know when I reach a mini-goal, I can't wait to make the next one, and it just keeps going and going!! Good luck!

I thought you were going to be griping about turning 30. I was all prepared to say something mean and tell you to shaddup. ( I am 47 and feeling it today) I am so disappointed.
Many congratulations on losing 30lbs!! It's hard work and you are doing a great job!!
