just my observation

If you don't have a lot of weight to lose, your results are probably going to be the slowest. Don't expect to drop your ten to twenty pounds in a month, it isn't going to happen like that usually. (this seems to be the situation in a lot of the threads asking for help because of no results).

You are right.0

You are absolutely right. I have less than 15 lbs left to get to my weight goal (105lbs) and it's gonna take for-eh-verrrrrrrr.0
-
You're quite right - I am one of those people, I am trying to be patient but it isn't easy!0

So true!!
My weight loss is only crawling along these days.0 -
I'm one of those people, too. I'm very impatient, but I know it's going to take a lot more time and diligent effort.0

lol whoa i thought you said the complete oppostie. i was like uhh no! haha but true.0

you arw 100% right! i just changed up my goals because i've lost about 11 pounds so far and i think i want to be at 135 instead of 130 based on how i look now compared to then so that's 14 more pounds to lose and it's taking forever for the scale to move... i do cheat tho. lifestyle change not diet.0

Haha, I was just getting ready to say what??
And yes, I have noticed that too.0 -
Very true. Weight loss stinks that way.0

still that sucks....and I guess I could deal with the slow weight loss even though I am NOT a patient person at all....as long as there is not a gain I might not go postal....for a little while anyway.0

Stop with the LIES!
You and your bad attitude ruining everything for the rest of us...0 -
Agreed. And honestly even if you do have a lot to lose, don't get discouraged if it isn't coming off as fast as you'd like. I've been going strong for a long time now and average 1lb a week. But keep in mind, I'm not dieting, I'm not restricting, I'm making overall changes to my life that I can live with, because if I'm not going to do it after I get to goal, I'm not even going to bother starting it now. That is how I failed miserably all the other times I've lost weight. Good luck to you.0

That's true, though it begs the question: If you are still losing quickly but are near your goal, should you actually keep going until it's hard to lose more?0
-
True I understand what you are saying and agree. BUT i think a lot of people who are trying to lose weight get frustrated by the number results...sadly they compare themselves to someone who lost like 5 lbs in one week. Does that make sense? It can get frustrating seeing the numbers go so slowwwwwwwww0

You're such a downer!!!0

i can surely attest to that!!0
