Just starting out here, HI GUYS!
I've never been truly successful with a weightloss plan, how often do you think I should weigh in? It says one week.. I'm dying to get on there asap. Is everyone like this at first? Should I hold off? Am I overthinking this?! Any advice is appreciated.

I find it best to weigh once weekly for my check-in, but I typically step on the scales daily just to see how much my weight fluctuates.0

once a week, every Monday morning right after I get up.0

Weigh yourself when ever you want. Just make sure it is in the morning when you wake up. Don't do it at different times during the day, in different clothes and different shoes. You will make yourself crazy because your weight will fluctuate. If it goes up over a few days, re-evaluate what you are eating, how much exercising you are doing and how much water and salt you are taking in. Up the water, decrease the salt.0

I weigh myself a few times a week, but I do my official weigh on on Fridays (since I joined the gym last friday, no other reason than that). I weigh through out the week just to make sure I'm doing things right, not holding on to too much water weight.0

Once a week its more accurate to follow your progress, I weigh in every friday in the morning.
If you wish feel free to add me as a friend.0 -
personally I weigh in everyday, and I count every loss as a loss, and I NEVER record the gains. Weight will flutuate everyday, so I figure this is the best way to go about it.0

I don't weigh in often at all. Originally it was because I started this by weighing myself at my mom's house with her scale because it's better. We don't live in the same city so I only weigh in when I go home to visit.
Now, I think it's better for me because I am much more focused on NSV (Non scale victories), feeling good and it being a LIFESTYLE not a diet. Weight can fluctuate from day to day for various reasons and whenever that number isn't a magic number, it's discouraging. I can't imagine how I could ever feel like this is normal and how I SHOULD eat/live when I'm obsessing over a number.0 -
I've heard once a week is best. I do it more than that but I'm good at not freaking out about little gains and fluctuations. I graph them all in excel and kind of just watch the overall trends.0

I weigh myself everyday but I only log my weight 1 time a week on fridays. I read that people tend to lose more weight when weighing everyday over people that weigh only once per week.0

Weigh in every 2 hours, then you know what works best for you..0

I weighed in before and after a dump once or twice - then I knew that like Peter Kay, I also &*£% a lb0

Yeah everyone's like that. I stopped that after the first few weeks, simply because I like seeing a big difference. I only weigh myself once every 2 weeks and I've done well with that. Plenty of others (who have lost much more than me) weigh everyday but records it on here, once a week. It doesn't matter what you do as long as either way motivates you to keep going!0

I'll check the scale every day, but have an offical weigh in once a week.0

Do it the same day, once a week. If not, it will drive you crazy! lol0

I am the same as many others. I weigh almost everyday but track only once a week. Usually Fridays. I weigh at the same time each day, which is first thing in the morning. Best of Luck to a healthier you! )0

A once a week official weigh in is very reasonable, morning is a must- and just for me I'm going to sneak a peek between!
