Hey there!! I'm Sarah and I just joined because I need some help motivating myself to lose some weight. I had a baby 7 months ago and ever since I have gained weight like crazy!! I'm 5'7 and before I had my baby boy I was at 143lbs and wearing size 5 in pants! I was soo happy and so healthy. I felt good about myself. Now I am about 170lbs and so unhappy and hate getting dressed and I hate shopping. I feel so unattractive and it hurts. My boyfriend is about the same height as me and he weighs 145lbs and standing by him makes me feel like a hippo!! I just want to be active and happy about myself. I miss looking in the mirror and being proud of myself. I purchase the GNC 14 day transformation! Today is my first day and I took the am pills and the vanilla bean lean shake already.... We'll see what happens during the day! I have a desk job from 1-10pm and find myself snacking on a lot of SUGAR!! I'm trying to keep myself away from that though!! Anyways please help me motivate me im looking to find my weight that i was before i was pregnant!!

    Welcome and good luck. You've come to the right place. As long as you stay within your goals you will lose. Just eat healthy. Stay away from processed and fast foods, sodium and refined sugar. Oh and portion control.

    How old is your baby? Loosing baby weight takes some time. Don't be too hard on yourself. And yeah, my husband is the same height as me and definitely weighed less immediately post baby. It kind of sucks to have to compare yourself to your partner. But he didn't carry and birth a kid...

    During my whole pregnancy I actually lost weight and then I had my baby 2 months early. He was hopitalzed and I was super depressed. I found myself eating ALL the time... he is 7 months old right now and I'm having a hard time just getting ONE lbs off my body!!!

    Welcome! You are off to a great start by finding this site. Being a new mom is overwhelming but as long as you stay under your calorie goal and try to get some kind of exercise in a few times a week, the pounds should start coming off. I would take your little one out in the stroller. Walking would be a great start! Also, squeeze in a workout tape while the baby naps. Unless, you need the extra sleep too. lol Good luck on your journey. :smile:
