Why don't you gain calories with weight training?

hi,
I'm fairly new at this, but why would I not gain calories in my food area when I did a weight training workout? I thought weight training allowed your metabolism to work longer than when you do a cardio workout? I'm confused.
Help.

You've got to enter it under "cardio" to see the calories burned during weight training added to your meals for the day.0

Cardio
Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)
Below that you can put in lifting on individual basis. I use this if I only do my push ups and sit ups as they take 10 minutes.
If I do my full out 30 minute arm or leg routine, I use the one above to get the calories burned.
Hope this helped:flowerforyou:0
